How to Apply?

Getting a mortgage with CFF is simple when you have the right documents ready! We're here to guide you through the process and make sure everything goes smoothly. Below, we've put together a simple list of what you'll need to get started:

  1. Referral letter from Credit Union
  2. Two (2) Forms of Valid National Identification – Passport, ID Card, Driver’s Permit
  3. Recent Job Letter (No older than 3 months)
  4. Recent Pay Slip
  5. Utility Bill (Proof of Address)
  6. Statement of Savings (Evidence of Funds to be Held / Equity)
  7. Sale Agreement
  8. Deed / Certificate of Title / Lease Agreement
  9. Valuation from approved Valuator
  10. Up-to-date Lease Rent Receipt
  11. WASA Clearance Certificate
  12. Land & Building Tax Receipt
  13. For recently constructed homes, a completion certificate from requisite local government agency
  14. Processing Fee of .75% of loan amount (residential mortgage)
  15. Cash flow projections for the next 3 years (commercial mortgage)

  1. Share Certificate
  2. Evidence of up to date Management Company maintenance fees
  3. Management Company Bye Laws and up to date Annual Returns

  1. Up-to-date Land Tax Receipt
  2. Survey Plan
  3. Town & Country Planning approval to develop land for residential purposes
  4. Regional Corporation Final Approval for development of land
  5. Mortgage Deed (if there is an existing mortgage on the property being purchased)
Construction FinanceBridging Finance for Construction
  1. Survey Plan
  2. Settlement letter for Land Loan (if applicable)
  3. Approved Building Plans (from Town & Country Planning and Regional Corporation)
  4. inclusive of Building Permit
  5. Builder’s Estimate
  6. Building Contract
  7. Quantity Surveyor’s Report
  8. Valuation Report giving the proposed value of house and land
  9. Contractor’s All Risk Insurance for a period of at least one (1) year
  10. Upon completion, a Completion Certificate from the Local Government authority and an
  11. Electrical Inspection Certificate from T&TEC
  12. Evidence of funds available to cover cost overruns
